So why all the fuss? After all we are already surrendering our cities, our churches and in The UK we are allowing 85 Sharia courts (22 of which are in The Midlands) to preside over matters that British Courts should in fact have jurisdiction. Well in fact there was no fuss whatsoever. The state controlled media absolutely failed to report the recent meeting of thousands of Muslims, who gathered in London to Demand a Caliphate, in any way, shape or form. All the media, be it national tv, local tv, radio or any of the newspapers avoided any mention of this meeting. This can be proved quite easily by going to the main website of any of the media institutions, and entering keywords such as "London, 2009 and Caliphate" into their own search engines. For example, on the BBC site, the most recent reference is to an article from 2007. All that The Scum newspaper could offer was an advert for "London hotels from £15". (Khalid Mahmood please note!) The outlandish demands from the meeting, to install another tier of government, are way beyond the thin edge of the wedge. These demands are like being asked for your front door keys to your house AND the codes of your burglar alarm. We are being told that "In this critical time, Muslims needed to hold onto Islamic values living in the West, and resist the attempts to reform Islam, and to support the call for the Islamic Khilafah in the Muslim world — to end decades of oppression, colonisation and dependency" All I can say to that is, if you want your own style "Khalifah" government then return to a country where that style of government already exists. If you have fled that country due to persecution or freedom issues, then why do you wish to install a government that would persecute you or restrict your freedom once again? This is a major issue! Why did no mainstream media report on the story? If these liberal-marxists bury their head in the sand for much longer, and events like this remain unreported, then the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland will become The Islamic Republic of Britain, and the Union flag or Union Jack as it is commonly referred to, whose first incarnation was used following the Union of Scotland and England in 1606, will be replaced with a crescent moon and star. At the current rates, this will be well before this 50 year old blogger is dead in the ground.
Ireland is a beautiful place , last year I visited Dublin with a friend, who is now my husband.
We were only there 3 days and nights, but got to visit Newgrange, Tara the City of Dublin, and Trim Castle.
The People are very friendly and accepted us laughed with us, drank with us.
I felt a sense of 'belonging', my Grandfather came from Cork, had a long red beard, and was a sailor!

A friend told me recently of a wonderfully moving video clip that she had recently seen, where two wild horsees suddenly appeared, and exhibited their empathy and outrage at the destruction of the forest!

In the mid-90s environmental activists took to treetops and hid in tunnels to stop the Newbury bypass being built. The protesters looked like they were winning, until Special Branch hired a freelance spy.
Today motorists zooming along the A34 dual-carriageway from Oxford to the south barely see the once grid-locked Newbury as they swing around the Berkshire market town via its nine-mile bypass.
The bypass eventually opened in 1998 As the countryside flashes by, perhaps few remember the fierce battles fought by environmental protestors as they desperately tried to preserve this stretch of wooded landscape.
"To see an area of such beauty ripped apart by machines and tarmaced over so that people can take a few minutes off a journey time is devastating," says one of the Newbury protestors, Paul Gill.
Specialist army
In 1996, hundreds of protestors flocked to Newbury. They camped in the woods and took to the trees believing the authorities would not cut them down with people in their branches.
But they were wrong. The protesters were brought down by a specialist army with chainsaws and tree-climbing skills.
To Sir Charles Pollard, then Chief Constable of Thames Valley Police, the protesters could not be allowed to win once the government had approved the building of the bypass the previous year. Newbury was a line in the sand.

Almost one in 10 British citizens is living overseas, according to a study of people coming in and out of the UK Studies by the Institute for Public Policy Research, published on the BBC News website, indicate that at least 5.5m British-born people live abroad. Figures suggest the rate of departure has been so great that population falls are only masked by immigration. Over the course of 40 years, some 67,500 more Britons have left the UK every year than have returned - a population loss that has been balanced out by increasing immigration. The number of British citizens who chose to go permanently abroad doubled from 53,000 in 2001 to 107,000 last year - some 2,000 people a week. Dhananjayan Sriskandarajah, co-author of the report, said that the scale and spread of the British expat diaspora was probably being driven by the UK's economic strength. But Sir Andrew Green of Migrationwatch UK said the departure of British citizens should be seen against an annual arrival of some 300,000 immigrants. "This net migration is the key issue - that is those who come minus those who go," he said. "We now face by far the largest wave of immigration since 1066, even allowing for those who emigrate. This is putting enormous strain on our infrastructure, public services and on social cohesion." This photograph was taken at dawn the day after the celebration of Lughnassadh ( The start of the Pagan Harvest season.) Pete and I had spent the night in West Kennet Long Barrow . The birds appear to encircle and Hail the dawn.
There were other visitors during the night, nameley a camera crew from France who came into the barrow and spent some time asking us questions about flying saucers and corn circles.
It was a bit of a laugh really as we raised our beers to them amidst cheers of 'Vive la France' and other toasts.!

Today I went for a walk with my husband, it was to a small local wood wedged between two sprawing estates in the South Western town where we live. I had been there on my own a couple of times previously, but had not ventured far into it. In fact the last time I had been there I felt sad that most of the trees were willow possibly planted by the council some years ago and left to their own devices, as a natural 'boundry' a demarkation zone between the 'run down' Council estate and the 'Posher' private one with it's more colourful gardens.Or so I thought:There is of course nothing wrong with willow trees, but not all planted together like some sterile monoculture, with only the occasional scots pine and a few brave holly bushes daring to be dark green and boldly different. I remember all those months ago walking non too bravely into this 'Mirkwood', strewn with household refuse, plastic bags and empty cans of 'Carling Black Label'. I sought refuge under the largest Scot's pine hoping not to be noticed by the occasional passing jogger or cyclist. I imagined I wore a cloak of invisibility that would protect me from any lurking rapist, or stressed out smack head with robbery in mind. Thankfully no one took any notice of me and I was able to sit in relative solitude and heave a sigh of relief at the chance of being alone with my thoughts for a change. My mainly miserable thoughts. But what a difference today! In the bright sunshine with the love of my life walking with me, confident and happy together armed with only our cameras and 'out to discover!'
No longer the 'gloomy Mirkwood' of memory but beautiful!
The rubbish was still there of course, but has been edited out at home. as we walked deeper into this arboreal dreamscape we gradually lost sight of the barrack like flats and the grim grey concrete.The trees became more varied, some very tall garlanded with ivy and blackberries in flower. Horse chestnuts with bright green spiky 'conkers' already half ripened,ash,bearing its bunches of 'keys' and beech, shiny barked with glowing fresh leaves. A stream ran alongside the path, it's banks clothed in meadowsweet, ragged- robin and oxe- eye dasies to mention only three of many species that flourished there in a profusion of colour that transported me back to my childhood which I spent on the banks, meadows and primordial woods by the river Ribble in Lancashire.Most days i would be 'down by the river', my dog Jan, a black labarodor splashing among the reeds as I learned about the flora and fauna.with joy in my heart. Today as we walked I knew that one way or another nature was far far stronger than the grim grey edifices that mankind erects in seeming competition to true wild diversity.

Admiral Sir Alan West said he hated the phrase "war on terror"
The battle to deal with radicalisation in the fight against terrorism could take at least 15 years to achieve, the UK's new security minister has said.
Former navy chief Admiral Sir Alan West blamed jihadists outside the country for influencing young Britons, and said the terror fight was a "daunting task".
He urged people to be un-British by "snitching" to the authorities.
Meanwhile Gordon Brown said he wanted a system put in place across Europe to help identify potential suspects.

On Sunday, August 15, a 16-year-old girl in the town of Neka, northern Iran, was executed. Ateqeh Sahaleh was hanged in public on Simetry Street off Rah Ahan Street at the city center. The sentence was issued by the head of Neka’s Justice Department and subsequently upheld by the mullahs’ Supreme Court and carried out with the approval of Judiciary Chief Mahmoud Shahroudi.
In her summary trial, the teenage victim did not have any lawyer and efforts by her family to recruit a lawyer was to no avail. Ateqeh personally defended herself. She told the religious judge, Haji Rezaii, that he should punish the main perpetrators of moral corruption not the victims.
The judge personally pursued Ateqeh’s death sentence, beyond all normal procedures and finally gained the approval of the Supreme Court. After her execution Rezai said her punishment was not execution but he had her executed for her “sharp tongue”.
13 year old girl sentenced to death by stoning
According to Iranian and foreign press, Zhila Izadi, a 13 year old girl from the north-western city of Marivan had been condemned to death by stoning after it was found out that she had been made pregnant.stem in Iran. These punishments are handed out as a result of Islamic Sharia law being the legal system in Iran.

Britain will not yield despite a sustained threat from people associated with al-Qaeda, Gordon Brown has said after three terror attacks in the UK.
The prime minister was speaking after a burning car driven into Glasgow Airport on Saturday was linked to two car bombs found in London's West End on Friday.
Five people have been arrested over the attacks and police are searching houses in the village of Houston near Glasgow.

One interpretation of the name Tara says that it means a "place of great prospect" and indeed on a clear day it is claimed that features in half the counties of Ireland can be seen from atop Tara. In the distance to the northwest can be seen the brilliant white quartz front of Newgrange and further north lies the Hill of Slane, where according to legend St. Patrick lit his Pascal fire prior to his visit to Tara in 433 AD.

Just imagine the grey area marked 'interchange', as a very busy rounabout ! the 'problem' for those who have started the work on the motorway is that owing to the nature of the area they are bound to unearth sacred and archological sites all along the way. Which has now infact happened! A major site has been found directly in the roads intended path.
Heritage According to the Meath County Development Plan 2007-2013 "Heritage has been identified as the county's main selling point (......) tourism can also be of particular significance in the diversification of the rural economy and in the regeneration of certain towns and villages"
Based on these findings, the Government should nominate the Hill of Tara and the Ghabra Valley as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walking tours, centered on the Hill at present, could extend throughout the Valley.The land that has already been purchased for the motorway would make a perfect showcase for the area. Heritage and nature trails could be created, enabling young and old to walk the same green ground once walked by Tara's Kings. Hundreds of local jobs would be directly created as a result, and there ios unlimited potential for growth in the local economy. It would be an enormous educational and cultural asset to the county, and to the entire country.

Margaret Hodge has decided that this is a good time to say that too much Council housing is going to economic migrants at the expense of local residents. Allocation policies should be rethought to reward ‘length of residence, citizenship and national insurance contributions’.
Carefully, the Industry Minister has managed to conflate the ‘coming over here taking our housing’ and the ‘un/deserving poor’ knee jerk reactions. We visited this site in Imbolc (early spring), and it is a magickal place, filled with energy. Around 12,000 years ago they returned, but this time they were here to stay, and by 8,000 years ago they were becoming settled as farmers, and megalith builders.
The Old Ones

Al Gore makes global warming plea
Al Gore brought 500,000 letters urging action on climate change Former US Vice-President Al Gore made an emotional return to the US Congress to testify about global warming. The winner of an Oscar for his film on climate change, An Inconvenient Truth, told a large crowd that "our world faces a true planetary emergency".
He said the US should freeze carbon dioxide emissions and push for a strong climate change treaty to replace the Kyoto Protocol which expires in 2012. Mr Gore came under fire for his own high energy use at his Tennessee home. He called his first appearance in Congress since losing the 2000 presidential race to George W Bush "an emotional occasion".
'Carbon-neutral life'
Mr Gore spoke first to a joint session of two House of Representative committees on energy and environmental issues and then the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.
"This problem is burning a hole at the top of the world in the ice cover that is one of the principal ways our planet cools itself," he said.
"If it goes, it won't come back on any timescale relevant to the human species."

But critics questioned the science behind global warming theory and criticised Mr Gore's personal energy use. Senator James Inhofe challenged Mr Gore to consume no more energy at home than the average American.

Well, here is what I have to say about those ridiculous statements Note the words in blue, apart from his name, the mere fact that he is a Republican, Reprehensitive and that he leads a Committee combining the words 'Energy' and 'Commerce' tells us a lot. Working for the Enemy!' And guess what? Congressman Barton is the Ranking Minority Member on the Energy & Commerce Committee.Makes me think they have sent an idiot to a serious debate, so sure in their eventual conquest over their detractors! It's an American Tradition, put idiots like Bush in power and shoot all the good guys who slip through the net. Joe Barton worked with Atlantic Richfield Oil and Gas Co. before being elected to Congress in 1984. He is obliged to refute all evidence relating to Global Warming, by the nature of his Political stance, also his connection to the would be despoilers of our beautiful Planet. He knows that he is lying , but what does he care. The paradox is What is the point of being hyper rich and power crazed if you will not live long enough to spend it?

His documentary won two Oscars; he has been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize and several opinion polls in the US show him among the top potential contenders for the presidency, although he says he has no plans to run again.

TV nowadays because I find most of it boring, irrelevant and stupyfying. Filled with 'Politically Correct' Government Propaganda! Especially the BBC's because out of all the rubbish spewed out 24/7 into our homes we are reqired by law to pay an annual fee for the so called 'privilage.'A fee that now costs £131.50 per year and a black and white licence costs £44.00. The cost of this goes up often, to the dismay of most of the British Public, who face stiff fines of up to £1000 if they do not,cannot or refuse to pay!

The licence fee was introduced in a climate that was very different from what we have today. Now people are presented with a large choice in television and radio content, but whatever they choose to watch they are forced to make a payment for BBC services even if they never watch the BBC and have no interest in the output they produce. This represents a monopoly where you have to pay for one companies services regardless of usage With the many other methods of support and revenue generation available now there is no need to continue what would be rejected immediately by the monopolies and mergers commision in any other industry.
